“Dead Poets Society” is one of my favorite movies, and it inspires me time and time again. This video combines clips that I filmed across seven countries, woven together with quotes from one of the movie’s most iconic scenes.

“Poetry, beauty, romance, love —— these are what we stay alive for.” The video is both an artistic expression and a reflection of my life view in my mid-20s. It shows you my romantic thinking and my passion for visual story-telling.

The filming took place in China, Croatia, Denmark, Indonesia, Norway, Spain, and Sweden, where I lived, traveled, or volunteered.
